A truly unique experience! From the outside, the castle looks like something out of a fairy tale! Inside, however, it surpasses anything you could imagine! Everything is simply amazing! Unfortunately, filming is not allowed inside the castle!

I visited Schloss Neuschwanstein in March 10, 2026.
Thanks to advanced reservation & payment, I could enter the castle & receive guidance very smootkhly.

i did not read the instructions of course until I got to the actual ticket center by the castle to only find out the ticket pick up was at TRAIN station in Fussen which sucked. Other that that the tour was done by the castle employees and was amazing.

Well organized. However, I thought the tour in Hohenschwangau was better, since the groups were smaller and there was time to answer questions.
At Neuschwanstein, it felt more like we were being processed through a conveyor belt. The groups were far too large for the rooms and hallways, some of which were quite narrow. Unfortunately, there was little to no opportunity to ask questions; as soon as we arrived in a room, we had to move on again because the next large group was coming, which detracted from the quality of the tour.
A positive aspect is the audio guides, available in every language thanks to AI.

Thanks to Headout, buying the tickets was a breeze. Admission went smoothly. The reserved entry time was perfectly coordinated. We would definitely use this simple booking process again if needed.

Das war wirklich ein sehr interessantes und schönes Tag. Das hat sehr gut geklappt. Ich war vor 15 Minuten da, zu Fuß hoch gegangen. Der Weg war auch sehr schön und grün. Der Schloss war schön, es ist auf jeden Fall zu sehe. Die Geschichte mit Türkischen Teil war für mich als Türke sehr überraschend. Ich werde weiter empfehlen.

The winter touch was really nice. I liked the places for doing other things, a picknick area, a small film etc. It is relatively narrow so I recommend not bringing too much. It is also dark and relatively full, although going earlier is better. My daughter loved it!
